Quote: "Bergen Community College has reached a $145,000 settlement in a lawsuit by an employee who alleged that a top official sexually harassed her and that he had been hired despite a troubling history of complaints.

The employee filed suit last year against the Paramus-based college and Brian Agnew, a former executive vice president, alleging that he repeatedly asked her to meet him outside of work hours, pressed her with sexual and personal questions and attempted to kiss her."

"Agnew was placed on administrative leave pending the internal probe and resigned on Jan. 31, 2020, the same day Bookhart filed the lawsuit."
