Quote: "The 340-page report concluded that Mr. Jones had been sexually harassing female students and employees for years. The first complaint against Mr. Jones was made in 1996, but the university waited until 1998 to investigate. Mr. Jones denied any inappropriate conduct. “I think a lot of this is fabrication,” he told investigators.

The appeals committee recommended that Mr. Jones be fired. He cut a deal instead and agreed to resign last November in return for a severance package of more than $11,000 and a neutral reference."
